Hi there. Would love to find the name/artist of a few old tunes I used to hear on CFNY. One was a little catchy ode to toast with a line like "Just a little bit of toast (toast toast)." Another one is a song about a loanshark named Guido. And finally, an alternative instrumental with a girl occasionally saying, "and everybody thinks I'm high, and I am." Anyone know these? Thanks.

Ahhhhh...that is the "toast" song all right! I never thought I'd ever hear it again. sweeeeet! Thanks, Scott! Oh, and the other two songs I heard in the early 90's if that helps anyone.

I'm pretty sure the second song is My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, and it's called The Devil Does Drugs.

Make that the third song!!!

Thanks Tracey, I looked that up following your advice, but that isnt the song I'm looking for. It appears that it may be by Hexx/DJ Voodoo. Appreciate the feedback, though!

There is a song from the 80's called "Toast" by a British band called Streetband.

Thanks, Eric! You are right, and Scott was kind enough to even provide me a link to a download for that one.

From I Know Where..., 5/4/2004 2:07:20 AM:

Those last two tracks are by Hexx and DJ Demonixx

There is a 2004 remix of Everybody Thinks I'm High on it. The other song is called "The Devil Does Acid". The 12" vinyl and the CDs are both on sale there too.

Man, I didn't realize how long it's been since I checked this. "I know where...", Thanks for the info. I'll look into it!
