I definitely remember it. For a while on XM Radio's Fred 44, there was a show on Sunday mornings that was VERY similar, and was probably the best programmed show on all of XM Radio. I talked to the programmer, Bill Kates, who normally did production for the 60's, comedy, and other channels there, an...

I've had XM Radio for several years now, in fact I started a business (TimeTrax) based on satellite radio. Once you get used to having it, you won't be able to live without it. :)

Re: Tic Toc - 20 Questions

Can anyone help me out with this? It's one of the few songs I haven't been able to find anywhere. Had it in '84 and lost it just as quickly on a hot patio during a summer party. Warped beyond description :( . It's one that's eluded me over the years as well. As I recall, it's "Tictoc" (one word).

Re: Listen Magazine

I had a copy of a magazine that was free in A&A Records back in '84 called Listen (maybe I have the name incorrect). There were CFNY-related articles in the entire magazine and chart action for the station. All I can remember of it was that Bruce Cockburn was on the cover and there was a glowing re...

Re: My memories of The Spirit....

Actually looked at renting the Kennedy Road CFNY HQ (after they moved totally downtown) for my own offices (a little on the steep side rent wise though). When I went to see it with the real estate guy, I remember thinking - if only these walls could talk. Having spent a fair amount of my youth in t...

Hello everyone, My name is DJ Formaldehyde. My wife and I have hosted a show called “A Darker Shade of Retro” at www.flashbackalternatives.com for over two years.
