Hi, love this site, brings back a lot of good memories! I am looking for a list of the top 1002 played aroung 1990-91 on labour day weekend.
If anyone has this, or knows where I can find it, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks, but that's the one broadcast in 1999. The one I'm looking for was broadcast in 1990 - The Top 10 (to the best of my memory) included #1 How Soon Is Now, and also Love Removal Machine, Tainted Love, I Melt With You, Add It Up, Bizarre Love Triangle (I think). Please help!

Are you talking about the top 102 of the 80's? I've wanted that chart for a while, and unfortunately, the link on the charts page here only takes you to that crappy list of ten songs from the "bad" era. Or, I'm trying to recall, was there a top 1002 on the Labour Day weekend of 1990?

That's the one, the 1002 from 90 Labour Day. I e-mailed Kneale Mann about it a few years ago, and he had said that it would be posted at some time. I believe there was a print copy in the Sun but not positive. Would love to find this!

I too have been searching for this list for a long time. Now I remember being at the CNE the year this countdown was played and I even have a picture of my son and I in front of the CFNY Boom Box. My son was born in December, 1990 so it couldn't have possible been in 1990. He looks to be about a year old in the picture so I am almost sure it was in 1991. Anways the DJ inside the Boom Box is none other than Kneale Mann. Cool, eh?

Yep, you're right, John. Thinking about that, it must have been 1991. I still need to find this! Anyone?

My wife had typed and saved a copy of the "Top 100" from the Top 1002 of All Time on a floppy disk which we found a few years ago (it aired September 2, 1991) I've uploaded the text file to the following URL for your enjoyment:

I remember seeing this list. It was needless to say embarrasing. There were at least 100 songs that shouldn't have been on the list. There were many classic rock songs included. It looked in parts like a Q 107 list. Led Zeppelin, The Beatles etc... I wouldn't be too worried if you never find the complete list.
