Any one ever heard of a song that consisted of the tune Stairway to Heaven with the lyrics of Gilligans Island. I think the band was Planet Uranus. I would love to find it.

The original poster was close to the mark. If memory serves, a band called Uranus or maybe it was Planet Uranus did a more or less 'serious' cover of the theme song which received a fair bit of play in the day. That would be fun to hear again, too.

The only version I have has yapping before and after the song. It's Little Roger and the Goosebumps.

The earlier post is without the \"yapping\". I think Uranus might have been one of the talent search finds but I could very easily be wrong about that.
