Here is a real oddball....This was one of many oddball \"songs\" that Pete & Geets would play right before Stafford would read the news..probably to throw him off. Others included Wierd Al's \"Mr Frump and his Iron Lung Machine\" and the dude screaming into the drive-thru speaker trying to order \"a cheeseburger, fries and a large orange drink.\"
Anyway, here's Was (not Was) \"Dad, I'm In Jail\"....Enjoy.

(Don't know if CFNY ever played this - added it because I like it, perhaps you will also. You may remember it from the Terrence Malick's film \"
Badlands\". Played over the opening and closing credits)

Back in the early 80's they used to have a 'classical' show called (I think, Masters and Moderns) hosted by Dave 'Doc' Hight.

Good call. Apparently Hans Zimmer based "You're so Cool" on
"Gassenhauer".
"The Carl Orff piece that Zimmer paid homage to was popularized in Terrence Malick's stunning first film,
Badlands. Anyone who's gone to film school knows this film and the music.
True Romance was supposedly some kind of a homage to
Badlands."
