I'm just starting a blog of my memories of bands in Toronto in the late 70s and the 80s. Would love others to share there memories in the comments if you have any. Not doing it chronologically but more just posting what comes to me at any time. I'm especially interested if anyone was at the Japan concerts in November 79 or the party at the Domino Club - I've found next to nothing on those and I'd love to hear about people's memories.

Thanks for looking.

I was at the early show, I left a note on you're blog as Boxpusher. I'm sure I have the ticket stub.

Hi slj I saw your blog & a good start ! If there is "any" track you need please let me know! I thought I had them all but theres a few still out there to find.
I have tried 3 blogs so far but I still need to find a web page player that sticks as most share links die out after 30 days or so , so I pretty much gave up on trying to post . Now Canda is going to like the USA with copyright stuff so all pirate links are going to disappear very soon. Fortunatly most of the songs from the "spirit days" are long out of print so they are OK!
Scott only has certain amounts of lists & there was quite a bit more played back then than this site lists so that makes for hard digs to find those tracks.
I've collected for 8 years now & have amassed near 11,000 songs to date!
Always happy to share! Some tracks are direct from the artists them selves!
Need anything..Let me know or post requests.Folks on this board are always glad to help out!! :D

Hi Shackstrain

Thanks for looking :) I don't mind paying for stuff that I can find, but the out of print stuff and some of the concert broadcasts would be great to find. By any remote chance do you have a concert recording of the Alarm when they played Larrys and the power went out? They went on to do an acoustic set. I'd love to find a recording of that.

I was never a huge fan of local bands but one record I wouldn't mind finding is the one from Drastic Measures...saw it posted on here but the link was dead. I can't find it anywhere! Of course, the name's completely slipped my mind, but it was their most popular album. It was so cheesy in many ways but a lot of fun. Do you have that by any chance?

Thanks :)

Sonja
