Just in case anyone didn't hear....we lost Martin Streek this week.
He was found in his apartment by his girlfriend, apparently.

Just saw this on Google News so I headed over here. Very sad, especially that he was cut loose over some "restructuring" from a job he'd held all of his working life.
Edit: CFNY... er... 102.1TheEdge... now has a page up about him.

Devastating news. I came here first to pay my repects. I guess I'll head over to cfny to see what's being said, but they paid Martin a nice tribute today, although he would have liked more Tool. He'll be missed

Sad to hear the news.I heard about him being fired awhile back, but didn't know about his death until tonight.
Martin Streek's live to air broadcast was one of the best things The Edge had going for it (I used to pick up his show on occassion through sattalite tv).
