technical difficulties in downloading

I'm using a Mac and I've tried to download the airchecks both thru the browser and 2 download managers. The files download but only partially and never to their correct sizes. All of them are abruptly cut off. This is frustrating and I'd like to even get them all burned on a DVD or something so I could have the whole collection, but I don't know if such a thing is possible?

There are unscrupulous people on the web who think nothing of linking directly to our MP3 files, stealing our bandwidth, and taking credit for it. So we have to go through some fairly ridiculous technical nonsense to ensure that does not happen - however in doing so, it sometimes makes it harder for people to download successfully.
I've made some changes to the actual download code - give it a try and let me know if it makes any difference for you.

I tried it out and on the podcasts its still giving me that issue. The Don Berns one that's supposed to be 66 minutes will download about 16 min worth before ending the download. I can understand the need to protect the content but I don't know why they wont download to my computer.

Just out of interest - how long does it take for you to download before it times out? Is it always the same amount of time?

I didn't realize it'd been so long since I tried. Alright, retried downloading the podcasts and it downloaded for about 8 minutes. 22 megs out of 121 on the Don Berns file. Any ideas? I've tried using browsers and download managers - the download managers won't resume, and consider the file broken.
