I remember this song. Unfortunately, I have no idea who sang it. Could it be from a movie soundtrack, perhaps a John Hughes film? E. G. Daily?

Hi James ,
This song is recorded from tape.Don't know where from recorded :-( I have 2 E.G. Daily's albums "Wild Child" & "Lace Around The World".Just listened both of them and couldn't find this song, but the voice is similar. If it's soundtrack song maybe this not including in her albums...

Some Kind of Wonderful movie perhaps?
From Robert, 4/4/2005 11:30:18 PM:
I actually remember this too....it's a shame you don't have more of the song. It sounds really familiar. Kind of sounds like Belinda Carlisle in some way.
From James, 4/6/2005 9:03:51 PM:
I thought it sounded a little bit like Belinda Carlisle when I first heard it, too, but I don't think it is her. That led me to wonder if it was Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go's, as I had a tape in college with four of her songs on it. I don't have it anymore, so I can't check. How about any of the other Go-Go's? Solo project?
I can't shake this feeling that I was watching a movie when this song came on as a "filler" during a scene where the protagonist is shown running around town or something like that between two major scenes.
From Robert, 4/6/2005 9:38:38 PM:
It does sound like it could be from a movie. I can't remember where I heard it. But aside from Belinda Carlisle, it almost reminds me of a canadian band called One 2 One. The vocalist in this song kind of sounds like the lead singer of that band. If you know there song "There Was A Time" you might see what I mean. I just don't understand why I can't find the lyrics to this song. The only song lyrics that are really hard to find on the internet are candian songs. Maybe the song is Canadian.

Hi ,
I think it's released in Europe, but it's not sure. The (Danish) guy who sent this to me found this from old tape and he don't have unfortunately longer clip. It's really shame...

I still don't understand why I can't find this one... When i do a google search, I tupe Lyrics: She's Got You, that has to be the title of the song.
From blihn, 5/23/2005 12:20:41 AM:
Sounds a little like Kim Wilde or maybe Martha Davis from The Motels

e.g. daily has songs in the movies Summer school & better off dead i just found this so i thought i would let you know
From James, 2/14/2006 7:45:30 PM:
Better Off Dead is one of my favorite movies, and I remember E. G. Daily in it, so I listened for the song throughout the movie a few months ago and I didn't hear it. I don't remember Summer School.
I did find another Google hit where someone remembers the song as being of the Italo genre circa 1984.
