Hey Marek. It sounds like Midge Ure. Don't know if it's his solo work, maybe off the same album as "If I Was" or it may be an Ultravox song. Hope it helps.

well ive played that sample and my windows media 10 player told me that it was someone called "rocktail" and it's called "the overdose medley".........thats what the player said....

This IS from the Rocktail medley. I had it when I was 14 and play it to DEATH! I wish I could find it on CD.

I got a lp version of overdose from rocktail (1981 i guess) from "city hall V" compilation released about march 1982, it interpolates: songname(author)girl u want (motherbaugh/casale) private idaho (b 52's) enola gay (mc cluskey) disco rough (arto/belmore) johnny and mary (robert palmer) de do do do de da da da (sting) don't stand so close to me (sting) to cut a long story short (kemp) and a reprise of girl u want. That's is all i got

this album was released in Venezuela en 1981 as a maxi single including "Muriel" song title: Coeur a l'index, there is also an instrumental version of the Overdose Rocktail
