There was this song that I remember Chris Sheppard frequently played on Club 102. This would probably date back to the late 80's, I remember that it was usually played during live-to-air from a nightclub (for some reason Club Marquis comes to mind, but I have no clue how correct that is)..
The chorus would go something like "New York, New York, New York".. and part of the song named the various boroughs of New York City. Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, etc. For some reason I also think it said "New York, that's where the action is".. but memory is kinda vague.
I always loved when Shep played this track, but I have never heard it again.
Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated. It has left me wondering for almost 20 years.
Cheers, SD.

"New York" by Micro Chip League (MCL). One of my favorite club songs from the '80s.

Awesome track, I agree. It's on one of the Hardest Hits compilations.

OK, I've been looking for this track! Would love both versions on the original LP. Any ideas where to find electronically or on Cd at least?
