Update! This is a song that was posted about a month ago. It seems to have been removed because of the poor sound quality. I can't remember who posted it so here is the answer. It's by the Australian band Wendy And The Rockets and the song is called "Play the game". It's on the (Dazed For Days)cd released in 1983. Cheers! Paul.

Lead singer Wendy Stapleton's recent appearance on UK screens as a cabaret singer in the Australian soap Neighbours prompted me to look up this song from my mid-teens. I'm glad I found this website.
