Hey Dennis, this song is called "I Can't Go Back" by Fire Next Time. Released in summer of 1987 and I haven't heard the song since then. So this is a great joy...would love to have it...if you can fire it off.

WOW - Thank you so much - I was listening to a cassette of CFNY radio form the 80's and this came on. For the life of me I could not find anything on it even on Google - thank you for the Title and Artist.

It is pretty amazing to me that people are still enjoying that old CFNY music, so many (almost 30) years later. I have some old cassettes, and it is still some of the best music available on the planet!
And I love this web site for it's ability to talk about that music, and to connect with people who still love it.
