This should be an easy one....from mid to late 80s
'Love is the Strangest Thing' or 'Love is Strange' I recall it had both male and female vocals. More of a ballad type of song than the typical cfny 'beat' but this is where I remember hearing it. Who is the band? Thanks!

Sounds like the acoustic cover of "Love Is Strange" by Everything But The Girl. I believe it was released in 1990.

Andy Summers (from the Police) had a song called "Love is the Strangest Way" which had a girl singing with him on the chorus.

You're not thinking of "Love is Strange" by Mickey & Sylvia, are you? The one from 1957 that became famous in 1987 because it was on the Dirty Dancing soundtrack?
