I'm almost positive it's a Canadian band, and I believe the song is circa late 80's - early 90's. One of the lines (which I thought was the title) is "tonight I hate everyone" (it could actually be today, instead of tonight). Another line is, "if I hurt you I am sorry that was not my intention".
This one is hurting my brain.

That's IT!!! I did an internet search for "incomplete song lyrics", and then entered the longer phrase I knew, but the 3 sites I used kept saying it wasn't found.
