Early 80's. Band name I think is the The Hi/The High but all I remember is the refrain "Is anybody there" which could be the song title or not? Can anyone confirm there was a band called The Hi and what the title of the song actually is?

The band was called The High and the song is called "Up and Down". The albums is called "Somewhere Soon". It's actually from the early 90s, not 80s. They were part of the whole Madchester scene I think. Good, underrated album.
