I think i've got it. I just heard "Too Young For Promises." by 'Koo De Tah', an australian Band. The singer's voice is very similar to this one in your requested song. And they have another song called "Drift away (Don't let it)"(from album Koo De Tah 1986) I am almost sure that's it!
