I believe the title is "The House On The Hill" from the early 80's and I think it was a band name rather than an individual. Gruff voiced singer but a straight ahead rock and roll song with a bit of a sinister feel, if memory serves, although I probably haven't heard it for over 20 years. Would pair up nicely in a playlist with John Cooper Clarke's "Beasley Street"! While I'm here was there a band named Captain America from the same time and if so what songs did CFNY play?
Thanks, GR

Sounds like the band, Audience, from the album of the same name. Early 70's. Great song and a pretty good album. go to www.audienceareback.com
