For the first 10 years of searching I thought this was a lost Mike Oldfield track. No such luck. Played onm CFNY 1987 or 1988.

Definitely Mike Oldfield - Crises - the title track of one of his mid-80's albums - another full side epic similar to Tubular Bells.
