Played on CFNY in 1988 or 1989. Only Jean-Luc Ponty has ever been suggested as the artist, and I couldn't match it to his work.

Possibly Yes guitarist Rick Wakeman or Tangerine Dream.I can see why Jean-luc Ponty was suggested but the cut centers around a guitar.
