This is a song from the early '90s. The only song lyrics I remember are So Long So Long, these words are said about 4 times in the course. The man singing the song sounds a bit like the lead singer from Blue Rodeo and I am pretty sire this song is Canadian. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Not sure this is the one you are looking for, but worth a shot "So Long" by Fischer-Z early 80's, they do repeat "So Long" 4 times in the chorus.
