Taped off a Canadian radio station in the early '90s, I remember this song intro well but I can't remember what song it actually is. I don't even remember why I cut it off.. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I thought it might have been Gowan at first too, but I know most of his songs and I don't remember any of them starting like that....myabe I'll check again. Thanks anyway Muffti.

It sounds like that Gowan's Cosmetics, but it's actually not...i have his greatest hits CD and the song "Cosmetics" doesn't start like that,, unless there is a different version off a cd single to that song....thanks for your help though DJ Wave.

You are right it does not start out like that, but it sounds like the hook starting with "high fashion models..."

There is an edit version, also could have been just for the radio stations only...often they would send us carts (like an 8 track only contained 1 song) to play. These have a very short shelf life, so you never see many around these days. Too bad lots of rare stuff, gone.
Try sending the clip to someone at that site to confirm.
