I've been trying to figure out this song for eons now so I'm so happy to have found this site! It was on cfny in the late 80s, possibly early 90s and I only heard it about once or twice. It consists of both a male and a female singer and the lyrics go something like this:
(Chorus: female): "you never had your thrill, until you made your kill, and when they closed their eyes you took away their lives"
The music/beat starts to pick up near the end of the song and the female states/yells: "I just wanted it to stop". The male then states (which I believe may be a sample from Charles Manson) "Don't blame it on me I didn't write the music". The music then continues on an upbeat and the song ends.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you very much! I think it's been about 5 years that I've been asking around about this song!

The original title of this song is "Sneakyville" by Secession on the album "A Dark Enchantment" from 1987. I think that Simon Says is a remixed version. Their other big song on CFNY was the Magician

Such a great song!! Any idea where those samples are from? The guy doesn't sound like Manson to me.

Sneakyville makes more sense after you've read the classic book about Manon, "Helter Skelter"

The sound clips sounds like, and I believe that they are, from the movie "Helter Skelter".

I was married to Peter Thomson and was just reading through this stuff - it's freaking me out a bit but if anyone wants to know anything I could probably answer!
