I have been trying to figure out who this is for over 10 years. I wish I had some info on it, but I don't - it was on a mix tape a friend made for me but it didn't list anything else and I have exhausted myself trying to find out who it is. Google, Gemm, Ebay - nada.
If you know who it is I'll give you a cookie :)
Thanks!!!

Hi Jason,
I just received this message from Hardy at the Blakes firstcut yahoo group.
Unfortunately, I don't have the vinyl in order to compare and say *for certain*, but could this snippet possibly be from "My Eyes" by Aussie band Screaming Believers (from 1984)? The track is included on the group's 1985 LP Communist Mutants from Space.
Hope this helps ... -Hardy

I haven't heard the song before, but it definately sounds like Gangajang, an Australian band from the 80's. It sure has that Aussie sound, so Paul might be on the right track there ;)

Hi again Glen,
It looks like Hardy is correct, this song is by the aussie band Screaming Believers.Jason has just placed an order for the LP at KBC Music. He noticed another song on the LP which is also on his mix tape Unprofessional" so that pretty much sloves it.
I also wanted to thank Kristin at KBC Music for also being helpful in regards to this song. If you guys are looking for a great record shop on GEMM check out KBC Music they are really cool and have great customer srvice, 5 star Gemm seller.
Glen, did you ever find the Fab-"Happy People" 7".
Cheers,
Paul

If anyone want to check out Jasons new record label. here is the link and info on this new label.
http://www.superfectarecordings.com
What's old is new again!
Superfecta Recordings was founded because there are too many great albums that have either never been released on CD or have been deleted by their original record label. We strive to find overlooked classic '80s Alternative albums. We digitally remaster the orginal recordings, add as many bonus tracks as possible and have the original artist (or someone close to the band) write new liner notes.
