Hey Joe, This was a tough one. The song is called "Mr. Radio", and the artist is Roderick Falconer (Taylor). As a recording artist he went by Roderick Falconer, but in his writing credits he goes by Roderick Taylor. There are two covers of the song, by Trisha Yearwood and by Linda Ronstadt. Song was released in 1976 from his "New Nation" album. I think that is his second or third album. In any event, I hope this helped you somewhat.
Mike
