I'm looking for a song I heard in about May '95 on REV-105 in Mpls, Minn. It's a beautiful, melancholy, Saint Etienne-style shuffle, with a wispy pretty voice similar to hers. Lyrics of the main part go something like: Been dyin' a long time Down on my knees, no way out of here Been dyin' a long time ... of the pieces of my life Of my life...
This attitude...this ... of angish i am Can you bear to sift the salty water? Can you bear one drop of my....
(and then there's this stern male voice who cynically says:) A rather monumental occasion, isn't it? 12 months ago to the moment you destroyed yourself
OH is this one wreaking havoc on my brain! Any and all help is always appreciated! :)
