Any Help in identifying this song would be greatly appreciated. I know this is an older song but not sure exactly whether it is 80's or early 90's. I heard this song a few times b4...and don't know all the words...but I'll try to give as much info as i can.

The song starts out as: "maybe...I didn't mean to treat you bad...but I did it anyway...now maybe...

then it goes on...then the chorus continues as: "now may ay ay aybe...I didn't mean to treat you ba yad...---->>>....then to what you had....

There is come maybe acoustic guitar playing and it sounds like a band but only one guys seems to be singing the song...the song has "maybe" alot in it, but I can't for the life of me figure out the artist, band, or even the title of the song. I know this isn't much to go on...but ANY info would help. Thanks ;o)

Hey Jayme:
The song I think you are looking for is from the group Candlebox - and the song "Far Behind". This was from the '93 album Candlebox. Hope that helps you out.

From Dusty Uttley, 7/28/2004 2:45:46 AM:

yeah i keep hearing this tune in bars, resturaunts, the radio but I can't come up with a name or track title even after tons of searching. it almost sounds like the voice of sisqo, it has a catchy melow but somewhat fast beat, almost like the old version of so fresh so clean, but new..i dunno not much here but it's worth a shot

From Brennan, 12/1/2005 3:10:25 AM:

trying to find the title to a song with the chorus of
a is for amber like the fire burning bright
b is for blue like the moon turned that night a
and c is for crimson like the roses i brought...

From Beth, 1/21/2010 6:55:37 PM:

"These are forever the colours of love." (next line to Brennan's post)

Sadly, I don't think "Colours of Love" has online lyrics. Well, not THIS song. (There are other songs with the exact same name.)
