I've been wracking my brain trying to find either the name of the artist or title of the songs that played in the background of the Classic Degrassi series and when I say classic, I mean the 80's series Junior High and High not the Next Generation, New Class series. They've been known to use songs done by Canadian artists since it was a Canadian show and some I can't quite figure out like this one here during the episode 'The All Nighter' It's kinda hard to hear due to all the talking and dialog, but the beginning starts off with 'Today's the day that I would remember, today's the day you....' Who is the artist here and what is the name of the song?

@ Cory, the song in the background is sung by a male voice......just ignore the dialog (the hooting and Happy Birthday) cause that's a part of the show

@ Cory, Hey, sorry I didn't see your response until now. It's been a while since I've been on this site! Added a few more songs to the list that are in need of identifying. I would like to have that one song or if you can, Upload it onto YouTube so I can add it to my ever growing list of songs that played in the bg of Degrassi! That's why I'm working so hard to identify these tunes. I only have 13 more in need of identification and then it's done!
