This song is likely from the late 70's, but I heard it on CFNY around 1980, maybe 1981. It is sort of disco-ey with a hint of progressive. The lyrics included a refrain "Take my hand, go to Potatoland." Had weird voices, funky strings, bass, and near the end of the song we hear a train bell with someone announcing "All Aboard! Next stop Potatoland."
I loved this song and would like to hear it again. My gratitudes to those who can identify it.
