I would swear that I heard this on CFNY in the late 1980s or early 1990s, since it was basically the only station I played. The only thing I can recall is this line from the lyrics:
I wanna ride on the back of your bike So we can [be free?]
I think there's also a part near the end where she says:
I wanna ride on the, ride on the, (repeat)
It's not much, I know. But it was a female singer, a bit sultry. Rockish / electric guitar, I THINK. I'm pretty sure it was in heavy rotation for me to remember the lyrics and even that bit of tune. I thought it was entitled "Ride" but I'm probably wrong. I've always thought it was Alannah Myles, but if it is, it's doing a great job of hiding.
