This song has been driving me crazy for 15 years. I don't remember any lyrics. neither I know the song's name. It is from the middle of the 80's, probably the second half but not later than 1987 or 1988. The singer could be a male with a high pitched voice like Jimmy Sommerville's but also it is possible that it belongs to a female singer, too. It should be famous because I heard it on a radio many times when I was a kid but then it suddenly disappeared. I only know how the melody sounds. I sang the melody the way I remember it. It is in the the mp3 file I uploaded. Thanks for any help and excuse my singing ability:)

Marek!!!! I am writing this with, literally speaking, tears in my eyes... You just made me the happiest man on the planet, and I mean it. I've spent 15 years of my life trying to find it, and here it is. That's the song! I am really grateful, thank you so much! To Kev: I agree it was funny, but it worked :)

Hello,
Also please check from Communards the beautiful song called "So cold the night"
Val, I know that song. It IS beautiful, can't agree more. I also love thier cover of "Can't say good-bye". I think it was originally performed by Gloria Gaynor. I hope I am not mistaken.
