I have been trying to find a song with the following lyrics...
"Money talks, money screams, money buys the dream machine...but everytime I shake MONEY TALKS!"...I can't find anything under "Money Talks" anywhere...
Also, if anyone is looking for something from the band "Interview", who had a hit on The Spirit with "Until I Hold Her", through a previous search for that song, I came into contact with the former lead singer, and he sent me EVERY ALBUM they did on CD! If you like(d) them, I'll send you a copy (FREE) if you can name an album...no strings...I love burning.
Please help with the above mentioned tune...
Thanx,
warrlock

Wow, I can't believe a site like this exists!!! Now I know I'm not the only freak for that era of innovation in T.O...
Not sure what I may have started, but audiofool, you're good! What's ur 20?
"Don't want a house, colour TV. Just let me shake that money tree!" I heard it around 1981. I believe his name was Brian Plumber/Plummer (msp?). I think he's from the Netherlands.

re: Brian Plummer- Actually some of Brian's first songs included "Milk" and "Claudine". Brian attended high school in North Battleford, SK after moving from Ottawa and played in bands with Dave Risling(drums), Murray Stewart (Hammomd B3), Dale Cameron (bass) and Ed Iwanchuck (guitar). All of the boys are still playing/teaching music.

I grew up in North Battleford and am a huge Brian Plummer fan. Where can a guy get the CD mentioned?
Remember Harry Startup and the New Colonials ? 1969-74 I was the accordianist and yes Brian was known to me. Good site

Just a sad note. Unfortunately Brian Plummer finally lost his battle with cancer on April 30th, 2008 and passed away peacefully in the early morning. A lot of his fans (myself included) will dearly miss him. I was a friend of Brian, we played some great gigs together and he was an amazing songwriter. His last CD "Perect World" was a historical culmination of his life. To me this CD was his finest work. If you need a warm memory of Brian, I suggest you give it a good listen. RIP Plum. To everyone...Life is short...live it to your fullest. Take care all....
