I remember this song in the 1987, though also in the very early 90's.

It's electronic, slow, ephemeral (mudanes might say "creepy"), and might have included a theromin (msp?).

A guy sings, a female does the chorus. She sounds like she's singing "Who's that I saw you with leaving my/your body last night."

His lyrics include things like, "You've been making out with time lords on the side..,"; "..,through Martian canyons..,"; and "..,and even Einstein couldn't figure out your true intention."

The song might be going on about astral projection.
