I am looking for a song that I heard in the beginning of the 90's. It is new wave/synthpop (as far as I remember). Could be the end of the 80's, very beginning of the 90's. I only remember that a male vocalist sings "Paaa-raa-dise" (long vowels), so I think this song is named "Paradise".
Also, some time ago somebody requested a song ID. Apparently,it was Etienne Daho with Paris Sens Dintertet from Arthur Baker's "Merge". Could somebody help me with lyrics, please? I've got hooked up on that song but can't speak any French. Thanks!!!

Would it be The Hunger's Paradise where the voice is really a sample of Star Trek's Captain Kirk? It's 1991 and pretty good dark synthpop.

It is definitely not a sample of any kind. This is a very uplifting and danceable song. It sounds similar to Real Life's style and has nothing dark in it.
