Could it be from around 1985? I did a search on Yahoo for those lyrics and aside from the Temptations and Earth Wind & Fire, there was an 80's band called the O Jays that did a song called "Just Another Lonely Night" in 1985. I have never heard of them. Anyone?

Gina - The O'Jays were responsible for such hits as "Love Train", "Back Stabbers", "For The Love Of Money" and "992 Arguments" among others. They were part of the Phildelphia sound, as driven by Gamble and Huff. This sound clip reminds me of Gowan, but most of his music wasn't as 'pop-py" sounding.
