It played for weeks in the 1982 Great Ontario Talent Search. I loved the song. It was a spoof on Kraftwerk's TEE. The words included its likely title "Trans American Express," and the intro "Sit back, enjoy your flight..,"
What was the band's name? I hear "Hare/Hair Ebden."
My gratitudes for help and where I can get a copy of this song.
Thanks,

The only clue that might help you is that "Ebden" sounds German. And "Herr" means Mister or Sir. As in Herr Schmitt or Herr Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc. But I have never heard of the group and all searches for Ebden have not come up with any music.

Great Satan, please contact me reguarding my Unknown Song- I was wondering if it matched up to the intro on the BoDeans song "Black White and Blood Red" I know the bassline fits, but what about the intro??
Gina--Dang!! I never thought of that! and I should know better. Marek, I'm checking your suggestions out. Frayo--Ditto with the BoDeans. I'll let you know when I get the song.
Thanks for the interest and help people.
From another ebden, 12/24/2003 1:13:18 AM:
ebden is not german, tho the name is in central europe. it's anglo-saxon and means "valley where the rosehips grow". it's likely a U.K. or Aussie band, though possibly in South Africa too.

I'm sure it's Harry Thumann's American Express! He's from Munich/Germany and so am I!
