Sorry about that...
I was trying to put together a compilation of Songs we used to dance to at City Limits in Niagara Falls back in the early 90's. I have the usual stuff; The Normals-Warm Leatherette; Ministry-Stigmata; Front 242-Hey Poor, Jesus is Here.
Does any one remember going there and what they used to play?

I used to go to Gord's a lot and I am sure it is the same music. How about "The Bog" by Bigod 20 or "Cars" by Gary Numan, "Up the Down Escalator" by The Charlatans.

Thanks, majorly showing my age, and lack of brain cells. I guess thats why they call it dope!
I remember a song and I am drawing a blank...

"Are you 486, yes I am sir"
"If you dont want a nazi in your house dont let one"

please remind me how dumb I am.

Sounds like Consolidated

Remember going there many times, mostly '89-'90 as I lived in Niagara Falls, NY, and the drinking age in Canada was only 19....Just a quick hop over the Whirlpool bridge. Was it Thursday that was their Alternative night? I remember hearing a lot of goth and industrial stuff ex: Sisters Of Mercy-This Corrosion, Bauhaus, Skinny Puppy-Dig It, Nine Inch Nails) along with the usual suspects (Smiths, Cure, DM, et al). Weekends were a different story though, with more of the usual dance stuff from that era (Rob Base, Tone Loc, M.A.R.R.S, etc., but not as bad as Rumours). I know City Limits is still there, in what form I haven't the slightest idea). Thanks for the memory jog.

I'm sorry, but I just have to point out that the Front 242 song is called "Welcome to Paradise" and that "up the Down Escalator" is by The Chameleons, not the Charlatons. 'k. I feel better now. Thanks for listening. :-)

Thanks for the insight all. Yeah the whole 19 year old drinking age had a lot to do with it. Thursdays were the night in question. I am not sure what capacity The ol' joint is in. We used to actually walk the bridge (not being in much shape at the end of the night to drive).
Anyone remeber the last song in question. it was an industrial song.
"Are you 486, yes I am sir."
"If you dont want a nazi in your house dont let one."

Piece!

Yeah, the last song is butyric acid by Consolidated. It's RU-486 is the answer(it's an abortion pill)
"I drink concentrated OJ and I think consolidated's ok" heh heh couldn't resist
