It sounds like John James. He had a "hit" with I Wanna Know in the early 90's. A Canadian guy. I think his album was called Big Fat Soul. Used to have it a loooong time ago.

No. I don't think it's John James or Bootsauce... I remember this song. I believe it's an English band. I might have the record somewhere, or even the video. I'll have a look.
