This song has baffled me (and many others) for quite a while. I'm not sure if it was ever played on CFNY but it sounds as though it belonged on the station in the 80-84 era. From what I know, the band name is "Vital Signs"(apparently not the local band Vital Sines) but I don't have a song title. Extensive web searching has turned up zilch. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Not Martha and the Muffins IMO. The only Vital Signs group that I could find in a web search is Pakastani Group.
Good song, though. I hope someone cracks this one.

I hear there are copies of this song on Soulseek going around under the title "Trading in (Guilt)" A search on the title only reviels want lists and there is nothing of that name or title on Gemm.com or any such vinyl distributer....
Someone on the nwoutpost.com forums stated that there were longer, higher quality clips or such..
He promised to send me a copy, but he hasnt yet.
Could someone host the file or send me a copy so I can host it?

This song is indeed by the group Vital Signs. They were a five man outfit from the U.K. It was their only release (1983-4) and it was on Power Station records. The B side is a song called "Miracles" which is also an excellent song.
It was a very limited release so finding a copy will be tough.
