I've been struggling with this one also for a number of years. I only remember a little bit of the chorus..."I can't put my finger on it...finger on it..."
It certainly isn't the similarly titled song by the Housemartins, that I know. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

There is a song from Ween called "I can't put my finger on it" on the album Chocolate and Cheese that was released in 1994 Amazon.com has a sound clip. Hope it's the one!

Wow, it's been four years since I posted this one! Well, I've since learned that it's actually a Donny Osmond song from the album "Disco Train." That said, I'd prefer to laugh this one off than to cry.
