Hi all, trying to remember the name of a band that was quite popular on 'NY in the late 80's, around the same time as The Spoons and Images in Vogue. All male band, not electronic, played at several CFNY events and had a couple of successful releases, I think they were from T.O. Name is on the tip of my tongue...Help!

Boys Brigade ? They had hits with Passion of Love and Melody, but this was in '81-'83.
Their lead vocalist Malcolm Burn is Daniel Lanois' brother-in-law.

Thanks but it's not Boys Brigade, later in the 80's,I think. This is definely not an obscure type band, they received regular airplay for at least a couple of years, two good albums at least...

It just came to me, I finally remember after a long time thinking, the band I was trying to remember was Chalk Circle, I guess this web site inspired me to dig a little deeper in my memory bank, thanks all...
