From John C. Jones, 5/28/2004 10:22:07 PM:
Ximo, do you have a possible song title for this track ? These are the lyrics I can make out.
"His mother says he's gone to fight for this/His? country's freedom
The freedom that he's fighting for is in young billy's hands".
From Rick A. Mortis, 5/31/2004 4:51:44 PM:
That was not Richard Butler singing.. therefore.. not Psych Furs.. didn't sound like Robbie Grey either.. so not Modern English.. pretty catchy song though.
Oh and Modern English have a lot of other songs besides "I Melt With You". Check out their debut LP "Mesh and Lace" one of my favorite dark Post-Punk albums of all time.
From Stephen Hanula, 6/1/2004 7:41:23 PM:
I need to hear more of the song. It sounds familliar... it is NOT the Psychodelic Furs though that is for sure.
From John C. Jones, 6/1/2004 8:00:05 PM:
Ximo can you post the other part of the song.
From Ximo, 6/2/2004 3:48:52 AM:
John, I'm sorry but I only have this part, I'm searching in my old tapes to post the other part.
A lot of thanks for your help.
From Belouis Some, 6/3/2004 12:32:20 PM:

From Clifton, 6/3/2004 5:38:41 PM:

From C-cat, 6/3/2004 6:19:31 PM:
This is proving to be a really tough one to crack .
From Ximo, 6/4/2004 4:16:25 AM:

From PoisonGirl, 6/4/2004 12:34:24 PM:
The music sounds like The Plimsoles.
From PoisonGirl, 6/4/2004 2:14:38 PM:
Peter Murphy perhaps?
From John C. Jones, 6/4/2004 5:58:33 PM:
Ximo, that should help a bit....
From C-cat, 6/5/2004 12:27:57 AM:
This might be a really obscure track like that Eskimos & Egypt song. Ximo if you find the other part of this song can you post it, would like to hear the rest of this great track.
From Fiction, 6/6/2004 10:02:36 PM:
It's definitely not The Plimsouls. Sounds too new wave to be them.
From beautifulmutant, 6/7/2004 2:35:22 AM:

One listed on Gemm, but the seller has terrible feedback. I sent an e-mail and they said it is not in stock and would have to be backordered, which basically means they dont have it.

It is Modern English. I remember it from years ago, mid eighties but the title escapes me. Hey anyone have a copy of Modern English's " I melt with you " in mp3 format. I have been looking for it and can't it anywhere. If so please email at [email protected] it would be greatly appreciated.
Be well all! John
