Does any one know the name and artist of an old punk song about Roanld Reagan? I remember it had lines like: "Save us, Ronald Reagan Save us, Mr. President Save us from ourselves" and "Ride on, Ronald Regan Ride on, Mr. President" and some other stuff about "Californ-I-A" and "sometimes Disneyland"
Near the end it went into a kind of hymn repeating Ronald Reagan over and over again. The only reference to it I can find anywhere is at http://eightiesclub.tripod.com/id7.htm - it says it may be by The Humans. Anyone remember this one?

Might be California Pipeline by Murphy's Law.

Thanks Hal. Unfortunately that Murphy's Law song isn't it. The song I'm thinking of almost sounds like it could be an early Bad Religion song, but I don't see anything like this song in their discography.

It's LAX "Ronnie's Song"!!!
You can find the song here. http://www.nwoutpost.com/song_of_the_week.html

Thanks Fritzb - that's it exactly! Now that I hear it again for the first time in decades, it's a lot less punk and a lot more new wave than I remebered it.
