This sounds a lot like "Red Box", but it's not any song I know by them. I have their first album/CD and it's not on that one, but they had a second album out called "Train" which it may be on...or this could be a b-side. It has all the elements of Red Box too...the voice, the banjo (they do play a wide variety of instruments)...hope that points you in the right direction.
