I hope my song fits your category so here goes. I heard in the fall/winter of '83 and it was a really faced paced, electronic, robotish song. It didn't make alot of sense and was just likeable for the beat and rhythm. It was quite popular at the time. Sorry, that's all I got.
Thanks John, but that's not it. I realize I'm asking to find a needle in a haystack but it really bugs me that I can't remember. The song was about keeping up with something or doing things quickly. Perhaps if I heard the song, my description could be completely wrong, it was so long ago. It's really a vague memory.

I figured it out. It was "break my stride" by Matthew Wilder. I don't imagine this fit into your category of music. Thanks for trying.
