I'm seeking, and have been for many years, for a song that cfny played alot in ,I think, the summer '82 while I did my Dickie Dee route, and made no money. I thought it was George Clinton, but maybe not. "Livin' in a B movie"??? referenced Ronald Ray-gun. "your life isn't really your life isn'really nuthin' but a movie." The vocalist raps about the sponsorship and I think who is in what rolls.HELP MEE!

Andy !

The track you're inquiring on is by Gil Scott-Heron. It's called "B-Movie" and it appears on his 1981 LP Reflections. (in fact I'm listening to it now).
I believe the CD is still in print for this title (plus it's a great album !)

There was another song that got some 'ny air play in 1982 called "Blue Collar" from his "Moving Target" album. (not be confused in ANY way with the BTO song)

hope this helps !

'fool out !
