Some time last year I asked for help identifying a song I recorded off the radio in 1990 (or was it early 1991?). All I could provide were my best memory of the lyrics, because it appeared I had recorded over the tape some years ago.
Last week I discovered the tape in an old Depeche Mode "Speak and Spell" cassette case while cleaning out my closet. This song sounds so much like Erasure, but I don't think it is. I would guess the name is "I'll Put My Faith in You." The lyrics suggest to me that the artist may have been a Christian synthpop band.
Thanks for your help!

Hi James ,
I don't hear your song clearly :(,only a little whispers...maybe is problem in my player... anyway i did a corrections in this file Who have a same problems please download the next "Marek" file.
Thank you for increasing the volume. The problem is in my recording skills. I haven't been successful at increasing (or maintaining) the volumes of MP3 files I create from my albums or tapes, even when going through my receiver before going to the Line In jack on my PC.
I'm going to post the lyrics as I hear them on the next (improved) posting from you.
Thanks again!

Thank you, Marek!!!!!
It has been several months since I last looked at this web site, and tonight I thought I'd check on the status of my mystery song. Thank you for the YouTube link and for solving this. I can't believe it's been 18 years since I heard this song one time on the radio.
