David may still live in Kitchener. You could try emailing CKMS-FM to see if they have any contact info for him, as he was PD/DJ there from time to time.

Shack - They were a band entered in the Great Canadian Talent Search that the station used to run back in the day.
I seem to remember them being in the competition in (possibly) 81/82. Some of the members went on to form Parachute Club.

I did a search under Rotary Connection and managed to find a blog that had their "Silent Night Chant" but that clearly isn't the track that David played on the 24th.

was it that long ago ?
If you'll recall, Scott had another site that offered weekly downloads of 80's trax that got RIAA'd out of existence.
But I have just noticed that the first cut.net is back again in a blog form that offers only remixes and stuff that isn't commercially available.

Re:
I think the song is called "You're My Kind Of Climate". If you go to Youtube and search "Young Ones Rip Rig & Panic" the excerpt from that episode is posted there. I wish I had the track. Anyone ? And now I do.... and so can you. you_re_my_kind_of_climate.mp3 - 3.87MB .
