I remember the Record Peddlar. A tiny bit out of the way and inconvenient hours but quite a selection and I was often pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive their imports could be.

To my surprise I spotted Nocturnal Earthworm Stew on CD, catalog PACE 044LN - never thought I'd see that one on disc. Plenty of photos of Mr. Prtichard in the finest threads the mid-1970s had to offer.

The earlier post is without the \"yapping\". I think Uranus might have been one of the talent search finds but I could very easily be wrong about that.

The original poster was close to the mark. If memory serves, a band called Uranus or maybe it was Planet Uranus did a more or less 'serious' cover of the theme song which received a fair bit of play in the day. That would be fun to hear again, too.
