The reunion was awesome!

The bands were great. It is amazing that the vocals stylings of all the singers still sound the same as they did years ago. More interesting though was the collaboration of musicians from different bands performing to make the sound as good as performed by the original band members.

One of the highlights of the evening for me was to meet and chat with Earl Jive and David Marsden and even have pictures taken with them. I was standing to the right of Earl for a while and decided to wait until the music paused to chat with him albeit briefly.

Many thanks to the people who put the reunion together. I certainly had a great time!

Well I missed the show and while it was for financial reasons I wouldn't say that it was because the tickets were too pricy but becuase I screwed up.

For bringing back some of the best voices on radio and some of the most extreme personalities in media it seemed like a deal, but then to add some of the best Canadian 80s music to the mix and I was ready to start rolling change (unfortunately I only had $60 worth).

Would I like another chance at this next year? Hell Yeah! But I can understand how something like this needs some time to make it even more special so make it 2 years from now and maybe we can see even more great Canadian music up on stage.

Congrats on the organization of something I wish I hadn't missed and to all those who went: I envy you.

Anon;

Added to a stellar line-up, and a " meet n greet " type interaction with "on and off" air CFNY'rz, was a gallery of past merch and media reports of CFNY....

I'll refrain from calling it a sidebar to the gig, as the ( what should be ) museum was well put together...

I've uploaded some new images, displaying ( as best I could ) this wonderful area of the event...

Who was the blonde girl dancing at the foot of the stage all night? She was jumping up and down and dancing the entire night, for every act, it made me tired just watching her!

I was at the foot of the stage all night, and there were SEVERAL girls bopping all night. I got to dance with one during Nash's "Dead Man's Curve". Ah, life...

This whole reunion made me realize how great 'The Spirit of Radio' was. Now we have to put up with repetitive corprate crap from everywhere. I don't think we will ever see another station like this again. It's really too bad that the world has become so carefully calculated and people (for the most part) are particpiating drones.
